Renowned Edtech platform Adda247 appoints Bimaljeet Bhasin as the new CEO
Edtech startup Adda247 has declared that they will appoint Bimaljeet Singh Bhasin (Bimal) as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Skilling and Higher Education Business. Adda247 is one of India's largest online test prep companies, helping learners prepare for various public sector and state/central government exams, as well as university/college entrance exams like CUET, JEE, and NEET.
The edtech platform provides online courses for over 500 exams in more than 12 Indian languages and is backed by investors such as Westbridge, Google, Info Edge, and others.
In his newly appointed role, Bimaljeet will look after establishing skilling, upskilling, and higher education businesses in line with Adda247’s vision to empower India's youth by making them job-ready. He will be responsible for building high-impact and sustainable talent solutions for businesses to capitalize on India's growth story.
Bimal has more than 25 years of professional experience in holding key leadership position in different organizations such as NIIT Limited, Manipal Global Education Services, and Wipro Ltd. over the past 15 years he is associated with education and skilling industry. He has showed his expertise in launching innovative skilling initiatives in collaboration with companies across various sectors. His contributions have helped job aspirants start their careers, existing professionals move up the career ladder, and companies build high-quality talent.
Bimaljeet said that, the company will collaborate with education providers and enterprises across various sectors to launch employment-focused education and skilling offerings which will help build high-quality talent for enterprises.
