Piece of Advice from Zomato Founder to Startups,
Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato has a significant ‘warning’ for start-up enthusiasts & founders. Talking at the recently happened start-up event Start-up Mahakumbh at New Delhi, Deepinder stated that start-ups have to invent to generate supportable & sustainable businesses that aligns with the robust evolution of technology. 
Goyal stated, “With all the technology and distribution systems changing, no business model will last more than a decade or two. Startups will have to innovate and create new businesses based on the results they have created so far if they want to survive longer.”
Also he added, “Currently generating businesses is more difficult. For Zomato, it’s about how we disrupt our own businesses. Zomato is already at version four of its 16-year journey”.
Deepinder gave an hint that the quick-commerce platform Blinkit could become greater than Zomato wqithin a year. Zomato, Gurgaon-based online food delivery platform had attained Blinkit in the year 2022 for 4,447 crore transaction to mark its unwavering footpint in the quick delivery market in India.
After launching “Pure Veg Mode” focused on strict vegetarian Indian customers which is supposed to deliver by partners with green colour uniform, Deepinder Goyal himself found in the ball of storm as Netizens raised concerns over this launch & stated that some communities may not all the Red-uniform delivery partners into the apartments. In that case, Goyal wrote on his post on X, “While we will continue to have a fleet for vegetarians, we have decided to desegregate this fleet on the ground by using the color green. All our passengers – both our regular fleet and our vegetarian fleet, will wear the color red”.
