Govt To Come Up With 'Comprehensive Policy' For MSME Sector

RSS leader Suresh Joshi talked about the element of 'diversity' in micro and small level industries and opined that big industries should not be allowed to enter into the business where such small scale units are working in various regions of the country.

He said that products of such small units working in regions have their own quality and local identity which vanish when big companies enter into that trade and start manufacturing those products.

"Why big companies make soap, oil when these products can be produce or manufactured by small units. It not only dissolves the local identity of the product but also poses a threat to the existence of local units. It is a serious question and the government should seriously think about it," he said.

Industrialists Digvijay Dhabriya, Tarachand Goyal, Ghanshyam Ojha and Dilip Vaidhya were felicitated in the function at Birla Auditorium.

Earlier in the day, Mishra also addressed an event on the theme 'Prospects, Future and Opportunities for MSMEs in Rajasthan' organized by the Federation of Rajasthan Trade and Industry (FORTI).
