Raising huge rounds amounting to billions seems a routine in the startup landscape these days, and Uber’s taxi hailing app is no different. The app connects users to private car drivers and book rides offering them different cars. Founded in 2008 by Stumbleupon creator Garrett Camp and Red Swoosh's Travis Kalanick, Uber is most likely to surpass the Chinese startup, Xiaomi in its fresh fundraising this year bumping its worth to $50 billion.
