B2B On Demand Delivery Services: New Breakthrough For Start-Ups


Sameer Verma, principal at Nexus Venture Partners and an investor in Delhivery said, "For the on-demand economy to flourish there is a need for a strong third-party fulfillment partner with a different fleet and different technology enabled platform.”

Sanghvi confirmed their need for partners in order to fulfillment of delivery services for the complete market.  Most of these delivery bidders are extending their genre of service to pharmacies, groceries, and ecommerce, other than restaurant food deliveries.

Gurgaon-based Grofers follows a cross delivery model though started in a B2Bs set up. Its current valuation is $115 million and is generating demand for partner vendors. Last month, when Grofers shut its B2B business has been confirmed by its cofounder Albinder Dhindsa to Economic Times.

Ola in Bangalore is all set to venture its two wheeler logistics equipped for fast grocery delivery. Identity hidden, Ola top notch executive confirms "More than 100 delivery boys are being trained in Bangalore to pivot grocery delivery."
