Bangalore: Startups with immense potential are springing up with the arrival of the season of new life – Spring. Though most people believe that Silicon Valley is the startup capital of the world, Indian startups are proving this notion wrong as some of the most interesting startups of the world are born here.  India, known to be the ‘land of villages’ is now getting a new makeover with various creative startups lining up to lure investors.

TaxiForSure.com is an aggregator of car rentals and taxis in India. They work with various taxi operators and enable them with the technology to ensure that customers get an easily accessible, safe, reliable taxi ride. They started operations in June 2011 and enabled bookings only in Bangalore thus far. The company plans to expand its services to all major cities in the near future.
