The Best Way To Handle Conflict With My Co-Founder

Bangalore: Business is a zone of conflict, and when there is more than one person to handle it, it is for sure going to bring some gloomy moments for all of them. The whole trick lies how you handle such situations. Few startup entrepreneurs share their thought on the best way or move they think is to handle a conflict with the co-founder.

Monday Meeting Conflict: Bhavik Jhaveri

bhavik jhaveri, co-founder, craftsvilla.comThe major conflict among co-founders arises due to ignorance of personal and professional limits. According to me, it is healthy to have a positive conflict among the co-founders to grow personally and professionally. However, the conflict should be for idea, system, or product. But, when conflict in the vision or goal arises, it is for sure to take the company on a toll.

Me and the co-founders of our company usually have a “Monday Meeting Conflict”. The meeting is usually for an hour where we discuss, agree, disagree and come up with an action plan for a week or a month. We always promote positive conflict that has helped our company to grow, and appreciate to have such co-founders who do not agree to all those that you say. I believing in being harsh to each other at times when needed and do not appreciate people who have sweet talks just to please each other.
