Tamil Nadu Govt to Design New Policy to Welcome New Startups

BENGALURU: Tamil Nadu government is all in talks with entrepreneurs and startup founders to pen down a policy that will make new startups to easily settle down without any hurdles, reports Business Insider.

A group of entrepreneurs including Cognizant founder Lakshmi Narayanan and Polaris founder Arun Jain suggested the state industries department to take steps in evolving a policy that can encourage new startups instead of the lengthy procedure of company registration.

They say that new companies face a problem in registering the name of the company in first place and then the allocation of office space is another hurdle that is making it difficult for the new startups to settle down in the state. So, the policy’s main concern will be about the company registration with no hurdles and with no time constrain.

The policy will make an easy way for all business operations like tie-ups and funding. Such a liberal startup policy is already appreciated in the state’s IT policy and the Tamil Nadu government is welcoming any such additional policies in line to make Business operations easy.
