BANGALORE: Squeakee, a startup that provides location based promotions is utilizing the power of location awareness technology to seize the untapped potential that the L-commerce sector offers. The Mumbai based firm delivers the service through its product ‘OffersOn’ which understands the user location, requirements and help them discover the most relevant promotional offers, discounts and specials in & around their locality.

 “It is the missing link between promotional offers and Search/Maps. Using this product, the consumer can get the best and closest location based offers and discounts sliced in the most popular categories which range across Pubs, Food, Electronics, Mobile, Beauty and Apparels.” said Abrar Shaikh, founder of Squeakee. The blooming venture is neither a site where you can sell deals nor an online yellow page site but a publisher of location based offers with a network of over thousand local merchants aboard.

Founded in 2012, the startup employs the capabilities of Google map coupled with Smart URL’s that assist in precisely locating the user’s location. The founder has gone ahead and made the product ‘OffersOn’ available on iOS platform in addition to the Android platform thereby expanding the reach.  Squeakee is also planning to go big by setting up online specialty stores that can be accessed from any nook and cranny of the country.
