One97 Mobility Fund Invests In MobiSwipe


Bangalore: One97 Mobility Fund has invested in MobiSwipe Technologies, a mobile payment service provider. The amount of investment is yet to be disclosed. MobiSwipe also announced that the funds raised will be used in improving the company’s operations along with launching a new array of customized products for merchants, as reported by DealCurry.

The investment also has paved path for Vijay Shekhar Sharma to join the MobiSwipe board as the chairman of the company.

MobiSwipe is a PoS (Payment online Service) provider, founded by Suresh Santhanaramakrishnan and Harmeet Singh Arora. The company provides merchant oriented services such as acceptance of debit cards, anywhere-anytime.

Suresh Santhanaramakrishnan is also the founding member of BharatMatrimony.com and Harmeet Singh Arora, who has over 15 years experience in the web and mobile space having worked with companies like Rediff.com, Zapak.com.

One97 Mobility Fund is a $100Mn fund backed by SAIF Partners. The company primarily invests on mobile start-ups and helps them improve their mobile services. Paytm is one of the payment brands that One97 Mobility Fund holds. Two months back, the company funded a Singapore-based mobile gaming company, TheMobileGamer.
