BENGALURU: Xiaomi one of the top most tech firms in china is extremely eager and looking forward to set up its business in India. The company has big plans as a part of its strategy besides partnering with various startups at different sectors to create an ecosystem of its own products in the country.

Xiaomi is the third largest Smartphone vendor in the world. Initially, it has invested in Chinese startups and it is privately owned by the company which designs, develops and sells smart phones. According to Xiaomi’s India head, Manu Jain, they may co-develop, invest or launch their products and even have discussed with a few startups so far in India. Xiaomi has sold over 60 million smart phones last year, and it recently rose over $1 billion in funding at a $45 billion valuation. Despite of its controversies of the ban on its Smartphone in India, Xiaomi India expects a good year ahead with Indian Startups in mobile technology. Over all, it would be a profitable deal for any Indian startup which aims to emerge faster into the global market to work with Xiaomi.

Xiaomi will focus to launch more of its products with efficient and effective quality follow up services. It will add on more features like Mi TV and  Mi Band.  It wants to start its own e-commerce front, Mi.com through which it can sell its products all over the country. Furthermore it’s going to open its service centers across the country this year, which would lead to boost its business.
