Indian Luxury Car Service Company That Ferries Obama, Bush


BANGALORE: We have many taxi service companies in India all dealing with customers from various strata of the society. But one group that is doing better than the rest in this country is the group that was sought after to provide convoys for International presidential visits. This group, as many would not have heard of, is KTC, the Karachi Taxi Company. They were based out of Karachi back when the partition took place and later moved to India.

The Company was started by Deshraj Singh, who is the grandfather of the owner of the company at present that is Gurudev Ahluwalia. He is a graduate of the London Economic School, and since taking charge of the company has bought most of the shares back. He along with his family is the largest share owners.

The company has been handling the travel desk for The Imperial Hotel at Janpath for a very long time. They have all the luxury car brands in their fleet with the latest models as well. KTC has provided services to many renowned people over the years. Worthy of mentioning is the delegations of the President of the United States. They provided a convoy of cars for Obama, George Bush and also Bill Clinton.

When President Obama visited the country, KTC provided over 40 cars for the delegation. The cars were inspected weeks before the arrival of the President.
