IT Startups Gain Attention of Non-Tech CXOs

BANGALORE: Ever since, investing in a startup has been a reward for oneself, may it be one’s contribution towards creating jobs or filling your own account with heavy revenue.

The influence of IT startups has widely governed the attention of many business tycoons from the software industries but its surprisingly gaining the attention from non-tech CXOs is commendable. Such brave decisions from the non-tech industries are welcomed by these startups and hoping to accelerate the development cycle of India to a faster pace.

Similar examples have been set by UB Group CFO Ravi Nedungadi, Hero MotoCorp CFO Ravi Sud, Mantri Developers CMD Sushil Mantri and Jain Group of Institutions founder-chairman Chenraj Roychand are some of the names who have contributed towards the early stage technology fund.

"I am not surprised by the trend. Leaders from outside the traditional technology arena are fully aware of the tectonic disruptions underway across the tech startup landscape," said Ravi Gururaj, chairman of Nasscom Product Council, reports TOI.
