Blume Ventures, Naveen Tewari Supported Moneysights.com Shuts Down Services

Bangalore: Moneysights.com a financial services domain which is a consumer internet startup, announced the shutting down of its website and domain operated by RupeeStreet Financial Services. The website is no longer available to access as the company closed all the website services on September8, 2012 reports indiadigitalreview.com.

The announcement of shutting down the website was formally informed by sending emails to its subscribers. In June 2011, moneysights.com had managed to raise a whopping $270,000 from Naveen Tewari, founder of Inmobi and Blume Ventures.

The company made a statement about its closure as follows, “While we never intended to do this, circumstances forced us to stop the updates. And over last few months, we concentrated our efforts to get back on track so that the service could continue uninterruptedly. Unfortunately, things haven't gone the way that would have been good for us & thus, to continue running MoneySights has turned an economically unviable and practically impossible proposition,”

The company started its operation in 2009 and it sent an email to the subscribers which informed the painful termination of their services, a part of the mail read - “We have cherished every day of work that we did over these 3 years & enjoyed all the ups & downs. Of course, we worked with a desire to be super-successful. However, we have accepted this undesired outcome & decided to move on. We feel sorry for this decision of terminating the service but that’s our only option.”
