Bangalore Based B-school To Incubate Student Startups

Bangalore: The Global Institute for Corporate Education (GICE) a Bangalore based B-school has come up with a center for molding young entrepreneurs and for addressing the rising concern created by lack of human resource.  GICE has named its initiative as startup Incubation Centre and works in collaboration with Bangalore Alpha Labs (BAL).

The GICE Start-up Incubation center will help resolve the issue of human resource by getting its students to intern with start-ups as part of their curriculum. The Start-up incubation center will be put up in the GICE campus in Bangalore.

The new incubator is said to provide assistance and guidance to budding entrepreneurs making them  capable of running their own businesses efficiently. It will also provide support to students who aspire to become entrepreneurs and will in turn help entrepreneurs to join hands with organizations that can provide guidance in specialized areas.

Rajeev Paripoornam, dean of GICE says "We have to develop a curriculum in such a way that students will have enough time to work with start-ups based on the latter's requirements. This may range from one hour to four hours per day,"

He also added that the GICE's tie-up with start-ups could extend between a period of 18 to 36 months.
