Ben McKean, Former Groupon executive landed upon a great idea of turning vegetables in to yummy pasta preparations. Customers place order on this app to receive a packaged meal within a day that comprises of a majority of vegetables along with some proteins. The key element in the packaged meal is vegetable noodles that are made out of vegetables like zucchini, raddish, beetroot, sweet potato and much more. The meal comes along with a sauce. The startup delivered 10,000 meals in its very first month.
Funding: $2 million from KarpReilly, Lerer Hippeau Ventures, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures and Crosslink Capital.
