Connected Signals is a startup that created an app named EnLighten that connect cars to traffic lights informing them about the nearest signal lights, thus, providing a safe, fuel efficient, and easy driving experience. The app predicts the time when the lights are likely to change thereby keeping the driver focused and improves efficiency. The application of this technology in auto drive trains saves 5-10 percent of the fuel, as per the developers estimate.
