The overtly proud ones

There are certain startups that take immense pride in their own achievements and leave out no instance to have granted you a job in their own venture. Workplaces these days discriminate them from the degree and their academic background. However, mere degree cannot gauge the intellect of a person. It is thus recommended to stay away from such HRs who boast about having most of the IIT-ians on board.

The laid back ones

This category of startups are laid back in almost everything, be it emails or interviews. They respond late to the mails ignoring the fact that the applicants can’t keep waiting for their job approval. And bringing into your notice if an HR of an organization is laid back and not good at managing dates then probably the startup is not worthy to work for.

The Complaining ones

Yet another set of organizations that criticize other firms for offering attractive salary packages to employees and are thus ruining the market. Recruiters forget that for most of the job seekers the priority is a good, fat salary package and the inability of some institutions to pay high cannot be justified by criticizing the ones who are paying more.

The Verbal Offer letter ones

Never join a job on terms on verbal agreement and negotiations. Every single term and agreement should be signed on paper. From the office policies, salary breakup, leave policies and much more should be a part of an agreement which is referred to as an offer letter. In most cases the employers back out on the deals that are sealed verbally.
