Team Indus, a Bangalore-based startup, recently won the Google Lunar XPrize, bagging $1 Mn in a competition. The privately-funded startup plans to go ahead of 15 rivals from across 12 other countries to launch a robotic lunar rover on the surface of the Moon by end of 2017. The robot would send images and data to Earth from Moon.
