The Chettinad palace is an epitome of traditional Chettinad architecture. Built with heavy ornate wooden doors, antique furniture’s, and decoration of elephant tusks makes this place more picturesque. Due to the unique architectural style of Karaikudi region, UNESCO offered to set up a Chettinad Heritage Museum at this place.
