 Noma Copenhagen, Denmark:

Awarded as No. 1 restaurant by a magazine Restaurant, Noma tops the list of Best Restaurants in the World. Noma established in the year 2003 and is best known for its reinvention and interpretation of Nordic Cuisine. It is owned by Chef René Redzepi, who is also the head chef of the restaurant and Marc J Blazer.

Noma is located in an old warehouse on the waterfront in the Christianshavn neighborhood of central Copenhagen. It is rated as a two star restaurant in Michelin Guide.

In 2010, Noma defeated El Bulli that was the winner for past four years and won the first position in the list of Best Restaurant in the World. The next year in 2011, El Bulli closed down permanently and Noma was easily crowned as the winner.  Noma continued to be the winner until 2012 and came second in 2013. Now in 2014 Noma has regained the position and is the best restaurant in the world now.
