BENGALURU: In today’s world, getting to spend some quality time with the loved ones has become increasingly hard due to increased workload. Bylakuppe:

Bylakuppe, a Tibetan refugee settlement has a number of monasteries, nunneries and temples in all the major Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Most notable among them are the ‘Golden Temple’ that houses three 40 feet golden ‘Buddha’ statues namely Padmasambhava, Buddha and Amitayus. The walls of the temple are full of paintings that depict the gods and demons of Tibetan Buddhist mythology. There is also the Sera Je Monastery, Sakya Monastery and Tashi Lhunpo Monastery which keeps the Tibetan Buddhist culture alive in Bylakuppe. Tibetan jewellery, handicrafts, incense and souvenirs are sold in and around the temple. The place which is located to the west of Mysore district is heaven for those searching for peace, tranquility and spiritual guidance.
