Murdeshwara:

Located 80 kilometers to the south of Gokarna is a town called Murdeshwara named after the Hindu god Shiva. This place is famous for huge Shiv Statue and is considered as the world’s second largest Shiv’s monument. This place is near to Arabian Sea and NH 66 runs parallel to the sea coast, so here you can immerse your feet with the sands of beach. If Scuba Diving is there in your bucket list then probably Murdeshwara is the spot for your journey.

Malpe:

Descending down towards south on the NH 66 highway is a small place called Malpe. Where you can have a glimpse of the sea on top of the lighthouse, also there is St. Mary’s Islands. There are large columns of hexagonal stones which is a natural geographical monument to witness in these islands. Kapu beach is a must visit to enjoy the cool sea breeze.
