Kannur:

Kannur is situated in the north Malabar region of Kerala. This place has long stretches of beaches, out of which the most visited beach is the Payyambalam beach that is 2km away from Kannur railway station. Further if you are an animal lover then you can visit the Parassinikkadavu Snake Park. Though it is called Snake Park, there are lots of other animals including mammals, fishes, and birds. Alleppey:

Alleppey can be called as the Venice of east, and is famous for houseboat cruises along with the rustic backwaters, canals and lagoons. If you love fishing in backwaters then you can opt Vembanad Lake which is the longest and the largest lake in India. Also, if you are visiting Alleppey on second Saturday of August do not miss the chance of witnessing boat race which is held every year on Punnamda Lake. This will complete your journey with all happy moments riding along the south-western coast line of India.
