Oprah Winfrey is a God sent person for her compassionate deeds. Her first fundraiser ‘The Angel Network’ was a big success. It then led to the establishment of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Operating Foundation’ in 2007which erected a school called the Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa. In addition, the shestarted the Oprah Winfrey Foundation that draws on her personal assets for fuelling the funds. Her total charity value estimates to over 200 Million dollars.

Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation

Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation was established with the success of the movie, Titanic. The foundation organizes media campaigns, UN meets and fund raisers. It strives to maintain the environment as well as the protection of endangered species and wildlife population. At present, the actor is on the board of the World Wildlife Fund, Oceans 5, Pristine Seas, The Natural Resources Defense Council, and International Fund for Animal Welfare. Recently, the campaign held for ‘Saving the Elephants’generated an estimation of over 2Million dollars at a special gala dinner held in Malibu. Alongside, the foundation had separately donated one million for the cause.
