‘Back to the Future’ star Michael.J. Fox was diagnosis of Parkinson's in 1991. His ailment led to the set up of a research centre that finances and aids people afflicted from this disease. The organization has subsidized a total sum of 450 Million dollars in hopes of finding a cure. The Fox’s charity is the leading nonprofit fundraising organisation of Parkinson’s drug development in the world.

Matt Damon’s Water Org

Matt Damon along with Gary White established the Water Org. They have also allied with a number of associations to resolve the water scarcity in under-developed provinces of the world. Matt Damon used his celeb status and pulled strings  inorder to raise funds to facilitate countries like Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, India, Kenya, and Uganda. According to PhilanthropyAge.org, Matt Damon's organization has an annual 14million dollar working budget.

Salman Khan-Being Human

The heartthrob Salman Khan is not only known for being a great actor but also for his humane acts. He has taken various projects that cater to the education and healthcare for the underprivileged. From commencing merchandise brands like Being Human to social events like dinner parties and fashion shows all come to show how big his heart really is. In 2013, the actor made a contribution of Rs 10 crores to aid children afflicted from rare congenital heart disease.
