Popular Indians at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

Wax Statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Madame Tussauds

Mahatma Gandhi’s wax statue stands with elegance at the London museum. A great political leader, Gandhi spent 21 years in South Africa opposing racial discrimination. Gandhi later moved back to India in 1914 and became active in the freedom struggle. He is fondly called “Bapu” for leading India towards freedom against the British rule through non-violence and passive measures.
