The ‘God of Cricket,’ Sachin Tendulkar, with 4.43 million Twitter followers and 20.8 million Facebook followers, is one of the most influential Indians in social media platform.

The Master Blaster within a few hours after joining Facebook  got more than 4, 10,000 likes. His first post was "Hello friends, I'll like to welcome you to my facebook family. As a child I always dreamt of playing cricket for India and I chased my dream of winning the World Cup for 22 years. It wouldn't have been possible without your support," as quoted by India Today.

His official Facebook Page acts as platform for his fans around the world to connect, interact, and engage with him. Further, Sachin gets 70,007 new fans on an average each day.

On Twitter he follows Sreesanth, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Narain Karthikeyan, Atul Kasbekar, Hormzd Sorabjee and Ubersocial.
