Indian Politics 2014: What Are The Hits and Misses?

Union Budget: First Miss of NDA:

Their extensive endeavor to hold the centre did not cover budget preparation. The new government was least prepared to present an impressive maiden budget. This miss gave cynics a chance to rule it out at one. Though the BJP fans are willing to extend the margin, the government surely lost a chance to make the best impression with its budget.

Congress Bites Dust: Biggest Miss:

This is the most grandiose miss of the year. Indian national Congress fought the elections with an imbalanced strategy which was under a lot of confusion. Rahul Gandhi was declared the face of Congress at the heat of the movement. By then people were dumbstruck with Modi’s mantra. The story reached a predictable end when Rahul proved to be a wrong choice of INC. Now all he is left with is some handful of supporters around him.
