Rohan Paul is a prime member in Assistive Technologies for the Differently Abled (ASSISTECH).  ‘Smart Cane’ is a product that is being developed by the respective firm and this product is specially made for the visually impaired.

Smart Cane is actually a device that detects any obstacle which is above 3 feet, within three meters range. The device is supposed to be placed on the white can, which can be carried by the visually impaired people and if the device detects any obstacle it vibrates and notifies the user.

Aaswath Raman:

Aaswath Raman is a Research Associate in Ginzton Laboratory at Stanford University. Raman is working on using renewable energy to reduce the room temperature. In simple words, Raman is researching to develop  optimum level thermal radiation and the solar reflection, which actually can be coated om walls to reduce the room temperature.
