 Ask a doctor about the infant mortality rate in India, the doctor would say its around 40 deaths per 1000 lives. But the undeniable fact is that the figures are true. In previous years, India has recorded average of 40 infant deaths for 1000 new births. This social problem provoked  ‘Embrace Innovations’ to innovate an ‘infant warmers’ affordable price.

Embrace, is a renowned social enterprise and a startup, Co founded by Rahul Panicker. The firm is booming in its efforts to build up a superlative healthcare technology intended to reduce infant and maternal deaths. Panicker, s the key person behind the Infant warmers, that is available in the markets at a lower price compared to usual incubator.

Saurabh Srivastava:

About thirty five percent of the Indian population is still considered to be illiterate. Hence, they are deprived of the present day technology.  But, on the other hand the country is equally exposed to the technical devices like Smartphpones and laptops, which have become part of our day to day life in urban areas. Taking this difference into account, Saurabh Srivastava, an employee in Xerox India is working on an innovative project to develop a voice and gestural interface at an affordable price for those who are  low in literacy.
