As a one stop solution, the government started National Scholarships Portal wherein all information about Indian government sponsored scholarships can be browsed. It’s in the same web that the applicant can apply for a scholarship. Later, the same gets verified, sanctioned and the amount is disbursed to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Bharat Net

An added step for better administration in the country is Bharat Net. This high speed digital highway connects 2.5lakh Gram Panchayats of India. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Gujarat to Assam, all Gram Panchayats had to mandatorily register here. Bharat Net is world's largest rural broadband connectivity project using optical fibre. Here, respective Gram Panchayats will update their developments and initiatives. Also they can discuss the common issues like unavailability of electricity or water that Indians face at different places.
