These are India's Cleanest Cities

BANGALORE: Cleanliness is next to godliness. India has long being in support of cleanliness, since Mahatma Gandhi days, and with recent invoke of Clean India Campaign by PM Narendra Modi. Let us have a look at some of the cleanest cities of India as rated three agencies, AC Nielsen-ORGMarg, Development and Research Services and CEPT University. Data was collected between December 2009 and March 2010, reports Yahoo.

Chandigarh: Chandigarh is counted among the best-planned city in India; and ranked 3^rd among the cleanest cities in the country. Chandigarh Administration has initiated Swachh Chandigarh Campaign with the objective of generating mass awareness about the importance of Cleanliness.

The Administration appeals to its Citizens to come forward to make this drive a success by actively participating in the drive by cleaning their surroundings.
