Railway Budget: 7 Expectations From Common Man


BANGALORE: Amidst much furor and sky high expectations, it’s time for the Modi-led BJP to open out over with the Budget 2015.

Suresh Prabhu, in-charge of the railway, has cleared the mist stating that the government would aim on bringing investments, restoration of the system by adopting transparency. He also said the populist measures will not be an issue for immediate concern.

With his focus to clear all the fiscal and administrative clutter, Prabhu is prepared to introduce his Railway Budget 2015-16, reports The Economic Times.

As the expectations on the budget run high, commoners are ready with their yardsticks to measure BJP’s efficiency to bring about better changes for a better India.

Railway has always been an important mode for travelling in India, carrying millions of passengers every day. How would this year’s budget bring about a change in the life of ‘aam aadmi’? And what does the common man expect from the new government?

The government wants to replace the fuel in the railway service and thus the budget would probably reflect the same. BJP is all set to make full use of the solar power in a good way. Waste-to-energy project and the CNG concept are expected to be introduced in railway services. This green initiative in the form of solar energy is predicted to be used in coaches, stations, platforms for illumination. In addition to this, energy generating plants in production units and workshops will be set up.
