BANGALORE: The dreams of 121 youth, who came to Iraq with an intenstion to help their families back in Jalandhar and Fatehgarh Sahib, is in a plight since they are unable to return back home, as the visitor’s visa through which they had arrived, has been expired for over two months,as reported by TNN.

According to some humanitarian groups such as Punjab Welfare Society of Kuwait, The youngsters have been held captive by the construction company that had employed them illegally because if the government finds these migrant laborers, the company would have to pay a fine of $500 per individual.

To further add on to their worries these youngsters have been locked in the basement of a construction company and provided with little provision of food and water for over a week which would only help survive.
