Factors: How The 'Muffler Man' Become Main Man

BENGALURU: So the Muffler Man’s era begins in Delhi. Delhi’s most awaited elections have come to a definite conclusion placing Aam Admi Party’s Kejiriwal on the throne. Certainly the Delhi voter has given him a second chance. Whether he deserves that chance or not is something we need to wait and see. But one must say that this election was the most challenging one AAP has ever faced. In spite of tough competition from BJP, AAP swiveled its way up to the top.

So there must be something that AAP had done differently this time. Here are the ten factors that led to an AAP wave in the capital as analyzed by TOI:

Own it Up: Did something wrong and terrible? Own it up and that is what AAP has done. Time and again Kejiriwal admitted that quitting was the biggest mistake and that he would never repeat it. The party on the whole has admitted that they had failed people. Owning up often leads to positive results and it did for AAP with huge margin of votes, which comes as a huge surprise. More than anything, Arvind Kejiriwal’s ‘Clean Image’ was quite impressive right from his inception into politics. From quitter, to anarchist to a humble man who is up for any challenge, Kejiriwal changed at different stage and ‘swept’ the roads of Delhi in one stroke.
