Partition:

1947 is partition is cited as the largest mass migration in human history, where 14 million Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims were displaced in the Punjab province. As a consequence more than 1 million migrants were killed; the death numbers had 75 percent of Muslim for asking separate state, on the other hand, women were the worst affected with some being raped and physically tortured.

Hyderabad Massacre:

Though India attained independence in 1947, the state of Hyderabad refused to merge with India, which consequently led to military operation against the Nizams of Hyderabad. The war course involved brutal acts of Razakars, the Islamic State Militia, which is alleged for killing 4000 non-Muslims and also for abduction and raping Hindu women.
