7 Child Prodigies Who Made India Proud


sdBalsant Shivanand Tiwari:

Balsant Shivanand Tiwari is a teenager from Rohtas district, who can recite 700 'shlokas' of 'Bhagwad Gita' with as much ease as he can solve mathematics, physics and chemistry numericals which helped him secure a rank of 2,587th at the IIT-JEE Advanced 2014. He is a farmer's son from Dharampura village, who has not received any formal education and has never been to school.

sdSatyam Kumar:

Probably the youngest to qualify the IIT entrance exam, 13-year-old Satyam Kumar wants to be like Albert Einstein. Born on July 20, 1999, the boy a resident of Bhojpur district of Bihar and the son of a poor farmer Sidhnath Singh, has cleared the IIT-JEE exam. He had qualified in IIT entrance exam last year at an age of 12 after getting special permission from CBSE to sit in the test but was not satisfied with his low rank of 8137 and hence repeated the test next year. In 2013 exam Satyam has secured All India Rank of 679.
