 Director Manjira Dutta reveals the lesser known and bitter facts about the highly revered Green Revolution in India. The film shows that the Green Revolution gave birth to an all new serf class complemented by the fallen crop yields due to the poisoning. The biotech package that came along with green revolution did not have any beneficiaries as such. Damages done by Green Revolution in the Third World Nations have been portrayed chronologically in the movie.

A thought provoking documentary that won the prestigious Los Angeles Movie Award (LAMA) is based on the 106 year old Mullaperiyar Dam in Kerala. The film sends a strong message to those who turned a blind eye towards the reality of a possible disaster. The 116 year old dam is the cause of conflict between Tamil Nadu and Kerala.


Concerns over dam safety were first raised by Kerala government citing the possible damage that could destroy the protected area in and around Thekkady, where the dam is situated. The film shows the illogical moves taken by the governments that can cause some irreversible damages.
