These animals are the victims of insane superstitions in India. Despite the fact that India is moving towards being an advanced nation with growing business and infrastructure, there are certain beliefs that continue to haunt us till date. Some of those beliefs are hilarious and hard to believe that they all come from one of the most civilized nations in the world.

Awkwardly enough, you might come across an old lady who would take a look at your feet and judge you based on them. Yes, it is as simple as this to be judged in India. No words, no actions, just flat foot can define your charm. Apparently flat foot in women indicates widowhood. We often hear ancient stories where the groom’s mother thoroughly checks the bride’s feet before any decisions were made. And there were instances where women were rejected only because of the flat foot. However men with flat foot get away with it. Why? You ask, the reply would be as weird as ‘they are men’.
