Road to Perdition

Starring the ever green Tom Hanks and the great Paul Newman, this Noir film was a classic and won many awards and accolades including the academy award for best cinematography. This movie which is based on a father and son who are a part of the underground was adopted from a 1998 comic which went by the same name.

Oldboy

The second installment of a trilogy, this movie was very highly acclaimed for the story and characterization. Oldboy is a dark film that revolves around revenge, murder and incest. Treading that thin line between sanity and psychosis it is a thriller like no other. The movie which was first made in Korean and later remade in English, is an adaptation of the Japanese manga series Old Boy. Although it follows a similar story line, the manga series does not involve the incest that leads to the plot and the revenge in the films.
