Win Over Cyber Crimes In these 5 Simple Ways

Do away with Unauthorized Mails:

All of us are victims of this most common trick played on us by these programmers. Never ever click on a mail which has a subject line ending with a question mark. Delete all the mails you receive from unknown IDs. This must be done regularly because leaving it in the inbox helps the programmers to get access to your account. So be prompt and delete such mails immediately.

Never fall for the sale or discount mails which are in your inbox. Flash messages and pop up messages are other such fooling tools used by geeky criminals. Experts suggest everyone to use filtering to control access to your account—this is an important point to remember.

Set up Administrative Rights:

Restrict software by setting up administrative rights so that nothing can be installed on company computers without authorization from the company. Encrypt your wireless network and keep all the system software updated.  Block access to restricted sites using Internet filters to prevent employees and hackers from uploading data to any storage clouds.

Disable USB ports so that malicious data cannot be downloaded or transferred. Implementing strict password policies is another advisable step. Be wise and encrypt entire drives, folders and files to handle any future challenges.
