# Keep the software up to date: Apps when released initially will have a lot of security flaws and the newer updates and patches will keep the software all up to date. Failing to so would result in hacking problems and leave it open to many vulnerabilities over the internet.

Downloading the updates for the apps as soon as they are released would keep the data we use through the app safe and keep our Smartphones completely protected. 

# Storing the confidential company data on an Unauthorized device:

 If the company has the BYOD- Bring your Own device programme then the storage of company data on the devices is never a problem, but if it doesn’t then that is a threat in your hands.

 Even worse is when the company’s sensitive data is stored on cloud storage backup system. So the vital factor here is to differentiate between the personal and the work related data.
