BANGALORE: CYBERKOMS DGtal launched a vortal www.WaterConsumer.orgon 15^th May, 2014, at India International Centre, New Delhi. This portal was developed in association with Healthy You Foundation, a not-for-profit Voluntary Consumer Organisation that works on all such activities, which empowers the consumer to access healthy food based on evidence and science based credible information and builds awareness on Health related issues especially in the area of access to safe and potable drinking water.

WaterConsumer.org was born with the primary aim of clarifying all misperception, reservations and apprehensions consumers have with regards to obtaining potable water. It is intended to be a one-stop destination for seeking all relevant information relating to Safe Drinking Water. The unique features of this vortal are:

1. Feature to get water tested: Because each type of water needs special treatment to make it pure and safe for drinking we got going with this idea of having customers request their water they drink to be tested (for a nominal membership fee). The test reports would then determine the quality of water with its TDS level and other minute details based on established published Standards by recognised Standard Setting Bodies of the Government.
2. Recommend the Right Water Purification Technology: This is a very unique functionality where databases of various Water Sources are mapped to various Zipcodes in India. And the end result (instant) is the recommendation for the Water Purification Technology available with us, which is in public domain.
3. Search and Compare within the various Water Purifiers available in the country, based on again information available to us in the public domain and finally
4. A platform to post Complaints or Testimonials from the USERS of the products and after sales services provided by the sellers or manufacturers of the Water Purifiers. The Rating mechanism averages out the (+) and (-) rating appropriately.
