Gameover Zeus Disrupted: An attempt to sabotage PC windows was foiled by a global coalition of law enforcement when it temporarily disrupted a nasty botnet called Gameover Zeus. This would infect PCs and extract information from users.

Gameover Zeus infected over half a million computers worldwide and the disruption was only to clean the infected PCs. America indicted Evgeniy Mikhailovich Bogachev of Russia for this act and charged him on several criminal offences.

Google’s Sweet Revenge:  The incident with national Security Agency snooping on the world and Edward Snowden’s act to releasing classified document made Google come up with revenge to safe keep the information of its users.

It came up with an encryption called the ‘End-to-End’ extension which can be used on the new Chrome Extension. This new extension is still not out to the public but this is a project that can guarantee privacy of your information from prying eyes, even the government.

Wake up Baby: In a shocking and disturbing act that left a couple in complete dismay was in Ohio, when a man hacked into their baby’s monitor and shouted ‘wake up baby’. 

This incident shook the couple who woke up in the middle of the night wondering how a person could hack into their wireless baby monitor. The creep is still at large.
