The Corolla, which was introduced in 1966, has been selling for more than four decades. As of 2013, it has sold 1.2 million Corollas. The newly redesigned 2014 Corolla is the model's 11th generation and it claims to have better gas mileage and a slightly larger interior.

Star Wars is a 1977 American epic space opera film written and directed by George Lucas. It was released theatrically in the United States on May 25, 1977. The film earned $460 million in the United States and $314 million overseas, the film is the second highest-grossing film in the United States and Canada, and the third highest-grossing film in the world.

While 20th Century Fox still owns the rights to the original Star Wars, Disney purchased the Star Wars universe, Lucasfilms for $4 billion in 2012. Disney will release the final three movies under J.J. Abrams' direction. The first of the three is scheduled to hit the box office in 2015.

5. Apple: iPad

Apple released the first iPad in April of 2010 and sold more than 211 million since then. Recently, the company has launched the third generation of its hugely popular tablet computer. Since its release, more than 67 million iPads have been sold. Since Apple launched iPad, the sales of laptops have started dwindling. The company still holds the largest share in the tablet market.
