John Chambers of Cisco Systems

John Chambers is the executive chairman and former CEO of Cisco System. His 20 years of legacy as a CEO of the company has been honored by listing him as the world’s second best CEO. Under his supervision in March 2000 at the height of the dotcom boom, Cisco briefly overtook Microsoft to become the world’s most valuable company, with a market cap of some $555bn.

Cisco claims to be number one or two in almost all the 165-plus countries it operates in, and has done for some time. By its own estimates, more than half the world’s online traffic travels through Cisco’s systems.

Pablo Isla of Inditex

Pablo Isla the CEO and Chairman of Inditex, the world’s largest fashion group has been ranked third in the list. The Spanish businessman is a Law graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid and State lawyer and State lawyer.

He has also served as Director of Legal Services for Banco Popular Español. He went on to be appointed General Director of State Assets at the Ministry of Economy and Finances. He was also Chairman of Altadis group from July 2000 to 2005.
