Followed by Mukesh Ambani, Dilip Shanghvi of Sun Pharma is the second richest man in India, with an estimated wealth of 1.02 lakh crore.Dilip Shangvi Sun Pharma is currently the largest and most valuable drug maker in India. According to Wealth X he is one among the list of Asia’s top ten wealthiest self-made billionaires.

Shanghvi is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company and Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation. In September, 2014 Shangvi’s income rose to 43 percent. And none of this wealth is inherited, inspiring the young Indians to aim higher.

Pallonji Mistry, Chairman, Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Family of Tata Sons:

Pallonji Shapoorji Mistry, chairman of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Tata sons’ shareholder is the third richest Indian in the list. His net worth amounts up to 96, 000 crore and he holds a share of 18.4 percent stake in the Tata sons. Pallonji is the single largest shareholder in India's largest private conglomerate Tata Group. Cyrus Mistry, his son as we all know is the Chairman of Tata Sons. So both Pallonji Group and the Tata Sons made it to the third position in the list.

Pallonji Mistry was also the former chairman of the Associated Cement Companies and gave up Indian citizenship to take up Irish citizenship in 2003, as India does not allow dual citizenship. Therefore he is technically the Irish Indian Business Tycoon.
