Space Explorations: Ten Countries That Spend The Most



They are not on a journey to complete with bigger players in the space industry but are just advancing to develop better space technology. India has 58 missions to space that will end by 2017. India spends just about $1 billion on space ventures. 

Europe:

The European Space Agency is a collection of 20 countries in Europe; these countries join to work as one to launch satellites that are functional for all the countries in the union. The Agency’s headquarter is located in Paris, France.

They have launched unmanned missions to the moon, are involved with the Hubble Space Telescope and working on much more missions for the near future. They build rockets that carried spacecrafts to the moon. The new Ariane-6 will be ready by 2020. They Union spend over $5 billion on space projects.

France:  

The country of France is a part of the European Agency and also has a separate agency called CNES, which was started by former President Charles de Gaulle. France spends over $2.5 billion on space programs.

This Agency has been involved with both the European Agency and The International Space Station. The Agency contributed through software and hardware products but has decided to even launch revolutionary planetary satellite, E-CORCE.

Japan:

This small country is one of the most advanced technologically and has been active with space programs for a long time. They have been involved with research and technology for space and also have launched satellites for various purposes.

Japan spends over $2.4 billion per year for their space programs. They are planning on unmanned missions to the moon and Mars. So with these plans in place, we can expect their budget to increase.
