Yuengling's ice cream made a comeback after 30 years. Frank Yuengling started a dairy business during prohibition to support the family brewery. Yuengling Dairy Products made incredible ice cream for more than 65 years. The ice cream is made of all natural ingredients starting with local milk and cream that has no added hormones. It doesn't include beer, but their most popular flavor is Black and Tan: Belgian chocolate and salted caramel ice cream swirled together.

The company Schlitz was founded by August Krug in 1849 but acquired by Joseph Schlitz in 1858. Schlitz was bought by Stroh Brewery Company in 1982 and subsequently sold along with the rest of Stroh's assets to the Pabst Brewing Company in 1999. Schlitz, was known as "The beer that made Milwaukee famous" and was advertised with the slogan "When you're out of Schlitz, you're out of beer."
